I love Halloween mostly because putting on a costume makes people act a little more wild. Stepping out of yourself can be good for forgetting about restrictions, inhibitions.
I haven't had a proper costume for years, but I finally got my shit together this year, and dressed up as a character from my favorite graphic novel,
Sandman. Her name is Delirium and she is of the endless. I definitely took my costume pretty far in terms of delirious behavior.
Far too much love.
I'm sad Halloween is over. It's my favorite holiday and the high point of fall, for me. I keep wanting to delve into everything spooky but I feel like the time has past. I know it doesn't matter, in reality, though. I'm probably just going to keep going on walks in cloudy weather and convincing myself of terrifying things. Creep on.
